Working with The Borgen Project

I worked as an intern with The Borgen Project for 3 Months. All internships start the first Monday of each Month. I was part of the PR/Marketing group. Overall, it was a good experience to develop interpersonal skills. I learned how to be creative and innovative. One of the most important assignments was the fundraising campaign. As a psychology student, I tried to put on practice the different things I have learned in my classes. For instance, consumer behavior, how to raise awareness and create consumer engagement.

Working with The Borgen Project was a great experience because; 1st, you are helping others; 2nd, you are using your knowledge and skills to share a good message with a good cause; and 3rd, you are learning skills from different social approaches (political, psychological and economic).

I encourage you to do an internship with this nonprofit organization. For more information visit its website https://borgenproject.org/ngo-internships/
